This project was inspired by an article from Rolling Stone magazine about a song speculated to have been released in 1983. The artist behind the song remains unknown, and thousands of people have been trying to identify the mysterious creator since 2007.

 

The song features eclectic elements of pop, punk, and electronic music. When listening to it, the general theme evokes a sense of darkness and mystery. My goal for the magazine was to convey the genre of music through visual elements. I chose to include images of figures that are abstracted just enough to obscure their identity. Additionally, the harsh geometric shapes and high-contrast colors reflect the overall tone of darkness and mystery, drawing inspiration from the lyrics.
